ReplyDeletethanks for visiting That Old House. Yes, we're lucky to have a family beach house on Peconic Bay on Long Island's North Fork. My sister and I are planning a refurbishment of it -- it's a year-round house, but it needs some TLC; my parents lived there until they could no longer manage, especially being down a long private dirt road!
It's magical on the East End of the Island - much like Martha's Vineyard, where we were this time last year.

ReplyDeleteIn response to your question about the shadow box table, it came from Home Goods (about 5 years ago). The little panes pull out so you can put treasures into the see-through windows.
FYI: Pottery Barn Teen has a great bedside table with a shadowbox top that I've been lusting for.
I really enjoyed your Obama tour. I've been traveling a lot and had missed getting all of the details. You've completed the jigsaw puzzle for me.
