Maya, those desserts just look perfect for summer. I love the chocolate shell on the cupcake, and I've long admired the cupcake wrappers Gollum has on her blog.
Love it! We head to the beach tonight. Maybe I will bring the fixings to make cupcakes with the kids. I hope you'll swing by my recipe exchange too. I shared a yummy baked flounder recipe and love collecting other inspired ideas:
Really cute cupcakes! I love everything beachy. Even though we aren't moving til the housing market picks up...I'm doing my house as a beach cottage. We're planning on moving and I started collecting things for the new house which isn't going to be for a while. So now I'll have the Inland Beach Cottage.
I love these! My daughter just got engaged and is planning a beach wedding. Instead of a traditional wedding cake they will have a cake on top of a tiers of cupcakes just like this one with chocolate shells on them! I think they all need these cupcake wrappers like Gollum has on each one!
I've already gone and copied this recipe to my file. This will be perfect to make when company is coming, they always like me to make things they can't get at home. Plus, I have about 100 candy molds and I know I have shells, starfish and seahorses and, of course, mermaids.
BTW, thanks for the advice on my blog, I really appreciate the help.
Mya, Honey you are amazing. Those cupcakes just look devine. Key Lime Pie. I love the little seashell as a topper, and the cupcake wrapper is absolutely "Beachy". How precious is that. You always have the most interesting post. I just never know what I am going to find when I stop by. Thanks for sharing. Country Hugs, Sherry
Loved the chocolate shell cupcakes - they left me inspired, thinking I could manage them. (I'm a useless baker.) Your whole site's a feast for the eyes! So, that's another coastal blog added to my feed. Thank you!
