More nostalgia from the archives of LIFE (remember Barfoot Bardot)..., and with summer now in full swing I thought a bit of prepdom might be fun (and I'm not even the preppy type)..., "Prepdom at its coolest" at the Tucker Mill Inn pool in the Hamptons in 1965..., "Preppy style traces its roots to 1960s Eastern U.S. colleges -and the nearby holiday havens where well-to-do families relaxed with nary a hair out of place."
