I used to play leapfrog as a kid and this image of a couple inspired me to leap over my husband -so I did
last Sunday on our beach walk. And I just love the outfits these two are wearing!

I can feel the sand underfoot.
ReplyDeleteHi Maya! How sweet is this! Last time I leap frogged I was probably in Junior High. Seems there was a cheer that went like that somewhere along the way. My that looks so invigorating. I am not sure at the end of the day I would even have the energy to try, somedays I do good to drive home. Maybe I could do that in the pool tho. Thanks for sharing honey. Just a wonderful post as always. You inspire me to do better each day. Country Love and Hugs, Sherry
ReplyDeleteLooks like fun. But I could never leap frog. I would sure pull something now!!! Ha Ha!! Connie
ReplyDeleteFun!!! xoxo~Kathy @Sweet Up-North Mrnings...
ReplyDeleteHow fun! I want to leap frog! I love this photo and both of your outfits go perfectly with the backdrop.
ReplyDeleteI used to LOVE leap frog!!! Oh the memories of childhood! :) How cute are you two playing on the beach!
ReplyDeleteThis is NOT ME and my husband in the picture... "this image inspired me to leap..." And I jumped much higher!
ReplyDeleteWooooo...its looking perfect.....
ReplyDeleteyuh had fun...
joollliiieess:-)
hehehehe ... I'm glad you jumped higher Good For You. A few months ago I did a cartwheel in the office ... only boss and 1 colleague still there... and good thing... i don't think it was pretty. Used to be good at it... but couldn't remember which way was which once i was up... probably shouldn't tell all my silliness.. but hey it was fun!! cute pic
ReplyDeleteOh this is the greatest shot!!!
ReplyDeleteI won't try it until I lose a bit of weight!!!
Let me just say it's been a lonnnnnnggggg time!
ReplyDeleteHon, I won't be playing leap frog for a long time. I've had a steel boot on my left foot from taking a tumble over some deck lumber for a month now. Been hurt for nine weeks. Be glad if I EVER get to play leap frog! More power to ya though!
ReplyDeleteBrenda
it's definitely been a while! I am afraid I'd hurt myself!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giggle and reminder to have fun!
It has been way too long. Great photo!
ReplyDeletequite a long while since the leapfrogging...BUT
ReplyDeletei did play on playground equipment last weekend, curly tube slide, see-saw, wiggling mushrooms, climbing ladders..w/ my husband watching w/ huge smile. playfulness is sexy, now that you mention it!
That really is a fabulous photograph!
ReplyDeleteThere's something so romantic about the beach in cold weather in wonderful sweaters! Maybe I'll just give this a try--as long as we have a cell phone handy in case of emergency :) Great picture!
ReplyDeleteI'm 5 feet tall and my husband is 6'3 and burly. I think I wouldn't make it over.
ReplyDeleteThis is the kind of stuff that keeps us young! Seize the day! Thanks for stopping by my blog today! Love yours...
ReplyDeleteOh Maya!
ReplyDeleteI had never thought that maybe you could not pick the starfish from the rock. The people that own the B&B have been there for years and they even told me how to dry the 2 out that I brought back. They told me where to find them. It is a private beach area. I had them in my suitcase and nobody said anything at the airport. Well if I am bad, I am bad. I will definitely make sure I check the next time. My sincere apologies. Country Hugs, Sherry
HAPPY OUTDOOR WEDNESDAY MAYA,
ReplyDeleteThe white sand is very beautiful......I did not know anyone still played leap frog...interesting

angel hugs
debbie
I think it was long long time:)
ReplyDeletethis is nice!
Happy outdoor Maya.
Love that picture and my leapfrogging is many many yers ago.
ReplyDeleteWell, first off I knew this couldn't be you and your husband last weekend. Why? Because I know we haven't worn sweaters to the beach for months! lol
ReplyDeleteBut, I agree, it is an inspiring photo. I can't leapfrog, but I love skipping down the wet sand at the shore with my granddaughter. Of course, she's eighteen now and won't do it if there are boys around!
oh...I hate to think how long it has been!! This is an amazing photo!!! I truly love it!!!
ReplyDeleteI do it in my dreams now....
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun shot~~
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing a bright idea.
TTFN~~Claudia ♥
What fun! I haven't tried that in a long time. White pants in summer always looks so crisp and cool
ReplyDeleteHappy Outdoor Wednesday!
I think I would hurt myself if I tried to leapfrog right now!
ReplyDeleteHappy OW !
If I answer your question honestly we'd be talking power of numbers. Let's just say it was a long time ago. I hope you're having a wonderful day.

ReplyDeleteLeap frog used to be so much fun as a kid.....don't know if I could manage it now. Maybe that's something to shoot for! :)
