While the decision to downsize and leaving the home in which you have raised your children can be difficult (I imagine), for Roger Jones and his wife Sherrill it is bitter sweet.
Beyond your wildest imagination sweet! The couple might be walking away with 29 million dollars, at least that's the listing price for their sweet home "Villa Rockledge" in Laguna Beach, CA which Roger Jones purchased more than thirty years ago for $420,000.
You can read the story here and check out the listing here.

It is quite a stunning home. But wow! Who could afford that kind of tidy sum? They don't live on my block!

ReplyDeleteHi Maya. Love your blogs and feel very much at home here...mind you I'd feel more at home on that water front porch! Gorgeous. I am an artist who paints the coastal stones here in Ireland. Come on over to my blogs and have a look at my stones...

That couch with the glorious view is the stuff of dreams. Nice find!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful home but a bit scarry being so close to the edge with CA's problems of homes washing into the ocean. Phenomenal views though.
