Beach Pebble People

Beach Pebble PatternsWho hasn't picked up some beach pebbles, stacked them or arranged them in patterns, right?

This family for example had the idea to make themselves out of stones.

You can check out what people create with pebbles and rocks on beaches around the world at The World Beach Project, a picture gallery devised by artist Sue Lawty in association with the Victoria and Albert Museum in the UK.

  4. I love this post--especially the image of the family made of pebbles. I just came back from Maui and this post reminds me of how certain areas by the beach had stacked stones.

The simplest sweetest thing, and I have never thought of that when we were at the beach with the granddaughters. Thanks for this Maya, it's something that I will remember to do. The photos would make lovely framed mementos.
