  3. That is so beautiful I'm currently battling powder post beetles on a piece of antique Danish furniture and I might not be upset if the end result of their damage left such carvings. Instead I get sawdust and holes in the wood.

  9. Those pieces are astonishing! It's almost as if they consciously carved distinct patterns. I also like the driftwood I sometimes find with holes bored through them by certain mollusks; those look like wood lace to me.

    There's a log in the forest at the dog park that has a K carved into it -- I thought that was pretty cool, till I saw these pieces of driftwood!!

  15. You pay extra for driftwood with worms holes. Amazing. I have seen some like that but never like the one in the front. It looks like fireworks.
