ReplyDeleteYeah, whenever it storms, people hit the beach to check out the surf here. But I admit, sometimes I do it from my car...
ReplyDeleteI mostly stay off the beach and in the house on bad weather days, though properly dressed, it might be fun. I have always wanted to spend Thanksgiving in Cape Hatteras. I imagine the beach would be deserted (even more than usual) and it would be cold and gray. A bit strange, perhaps, but for some reason, the idea, anyway, appeals to me.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you....any kind of weather is "beach weather". I love walking on stormy days...of course, not with lightning around...just the drizzle. There are so many treasures to be found after a storm...wonderful!

ReplyDeleteThat's just how my beach visit was yesterday! There were very few shells to collect but it was wonderful to feel the wind in my face and smell the fresh, salty air.
