From Cold to Cozy with Fisherman Sweaters

Simply put, a fisherman's sweater is any sweater a fisherman would wear, from anywhere people knitted and fished, men at sea wore sweaters knit with their own hands and by those of their women at home. Traditional sweaters were knit in untreated lambs wool which is rich in lanolin, adding warmth and water-resistancy. And they're "ruggedly handsome", don't you think?

    There is just something so warm and inviting about a fisherman's sweater! I love the cream color and the beautiful cables and they look so darn warm! And I agree, any man who sports one is automatically ruggedly handsome!

    I love these fisherman sweaters. Megan surprised me by making wonderful pillows out of them for my home and shop. Now I can enjoy them without the itch - Sorry I just can't wear wool. All the best, Lori

    I LOVE fisherman's sweaters...I had one that just fell apart last winter because I wore it out, lol! I used it as my winter coat for many years when I lived in Montreal! That little doggie coat is very cute, I'm sure my pugs would love that! Stay warm!! :)
